The Scope of Project Home

Project Home’s skilled crew can insulate and weatherize your house by replacing poorly functioning refrigerators and furnaces to increase comfort and reduce energy costs. We can make minor and major home repairs that include accessibility modifications like ramps and doorways, for no-cost or low-cost depending upon your income level. For all of our programs, we use green practices that include high efficiency products, and recycling as much building material as possible.

In addition to our fantastic crew, we contract with reputable, skilled and dedicated trade professionals who want to help your home become as energy efficient and comfortable as possible.

Through our volunteer programs and partnerships, we provide free home repairs, exterior painting, and an annual furnace check.

Project Home owns several affordable apartment facilities, and even has a program to help you purchase rental property.

We are just launching The Housing Center, a joint project between Dane County Housing Authority and Project Home to provide one stop shopping for all issues of housing for renters and homeowners. You will find many free classes, programs, and referrals that you can benefit from.
