Project Home is happy to host Paint-a-thon for its 20th year! The local Painters' Union, companies, individual and groups of volunteers, all enjoy the opportunity to help community members get a protected, more attractive home. If your house is in need of painting and you meet the financial eligibility guidelines, please see the homeowner information form and the homeowner application form below. For Volunteers

WHAT: To provide free exterior painting services greatly needed by low-income, elderly or disabled homeowners in Dane County, using volunteer labor. Typically, 12-15 homes are painted.

Sign up to be a team leader or a team member.

WHO: Crews of volunteers, individuals, businesses, neighborhood organizations, service clubs, and churches, lend their time and talents to paint the home of selected Dane County residents. Volunteer teams begin painting at 8:30 am and finish the job in just one day! Support is provided by Project Home. All materials will be supplied although donations of painting supplies are appreciated.

WHEN: Saturday, August 23, 2008 from 8:00 a.m. - 5 p.m.

WHY: To help fulfill Project Home’s mission to improve the quality and affordability of housing for low-income, elderly and disabled residents in Dane County.

If interested, please request or send in a volunteer application form.  If you know someone who could benefit from this program please let them know or contact us and we will send an application to them.

We thank the hundreds of volunteers who lend their time and talents and the generous donation of paint each year by Hallman-Lindsay. Since 1989 the Dane County Paint-a-thon has served more than 430 homes and their homeowners in 27 Dane County communities.
