Sponsorship
Project Home's Housing Center recently received support from MG&E by sponsoring the How to Weatherize Your Home class, and several others. We invite other companies to help support these classes with gifts of $500 - $1,500.
Project Home's Hammer with a Heart home repair event (since 2002) and Paint-a-thon event (since 1989) rely on support from businesses, foundations and individuals to provide the needed funds to purchase building materials and services that are not donated.
For Hammer with a Heart 2010 we have received sponsorship gifts from J.H. Findorff and Son, American Family Insurance, Godfrey & Kahn S.C., Carpenters Local #314, NARI (Nat'l Association of Remodelers) to date. Thank you.

In May 2009, skilled and community volunteers provide free major repairs and maintenance to 12 homes of low-income homeowners. This work would have cost the homeowners $85,000. Project Home paid $27,000 of that total cost, because all of the other goods and services were donated. Many supplies like lumber and counter tops and items like building permits will always need to be purchased.
In August 2009, community volunteers painted 15 homes for free at a value of $45,000. Project Home paid $8,500 of that cost. We are very pleased with the outpouring of volunteer skilled leadership and support, but financial contributions are necessary to get the work completed.
A variety of great recognition opportunities are available: television commercial (see Press Room), t-shirts, yard signs.
