Meet Our Energy Experts & Host
Laura Paprocki - (MG&E)
Laura is a Residential and Community Services Manager for Madison Gas and Electric Company (MGE). In this role, she provides technical information and guidance to customers regarding energy efficiency, energy use, building science, and energy technologies. With twelve years of prior energy auditing, new construction performance testing of homes, and diagnosis of building issues, she has boots on the ground experience that is accompanied by a passion for sharing information that allows homeowners to make educated and empowered decisions about their homes. Laura is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison Engineering School, BPI Building Analyst certified, and RESNET rater certified.
Adam Weisse - (Project Home)
Adam is the Field Supervisor at Project Home and has been with the agency since 2004. He oversees and helps coordinate programs on home repair, accessibility modifications and energy saving work. As a trained Wisconsin Weatherization Energy Auditor and BPI Certified Building Analyst, Adam is an expert in energy efficiency and Home Performance. He is a certified lead safe renovator, asbestos inspector and asbestos abatement supervisor. Adam is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a U.S. Army Veteran.
Jason Hafeman - (Project Home)
Jason Hafeman is the Outreach Manager at Project Home and has been with the Madison nonprofit since 2009. He began working in weatherization, first as a crew person and then as a crew leader. In 2012, he transitioned to the outreach role where he handles marketing, website and social media, fundraising, media relations and privately funded program planning and development. Jason has a Broadcast Journalism degree from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and previously worked in TV and radio in the Eau Claire area. Jason has been creating video podcasts (on YouTube) since 2018, including Project Home’s monthly podcast called “The PH Factor.”
