Production Coordinator – Inventory Specialist

We’re seeking a highly motivated Production Coordinator-Inventory Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this key role, you’ll play a pivotal role in the success of our weatherization and emergency furnace programs by overseeing warehouse operations, managing inventory, and ensuring smooth project production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead warehouse operations, including conducting physical counts, maintaining accurate inventory records, and generating reports.
  • Secure the best value for Project Homes by strategically purchasing weatherization materials, supplies, and tools.
  • Coordinate the entire job production process, from scheduling jobs and communicating with contractors to tracking progress and resolving any issues.
  • Ensure program compliance by inspecting job folders and performing weatherization/furnace inspections.
  • Be a member of our after-hours support network by responding to emergency program service referrals and directing them to the appropriate contractor, guaranteeing our clients receive timely assistance.
  • Maintain vehicle fleet functionality by arranging maintenance and managing the fleet database.
  • Continuously learn and grow by attending relevant training and seminars.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required, college degree a plus.
  • Minimum two years of experience in a production or warehouse setting, preferably in weatherization or energy programs.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles and purchasing procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Impeccable attention to detail.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
  • Prior experience with weatherization programs (WHEAP knowledge) and relevant certifications (Basic/Intermediate Auditor, BPI Inspector) desirable.

This position is Monday thru Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm.  Wage is commensurate with experience.
