  • Community Connection: Establish favorable rapport and confidence with residents and clients through excellent customer service and communication.
  • Project Leadership: Organize work plans, coordinate with subcontractors, and maintain accurate records of materials and hours.
  • Site Pride: Maintain the overall beauty of our properties through exterior painting, light landscaping, and grounds maintenance.

What You Can Bring to the Team

  • Experience: At least three years of technical experience in property maintenance and home construction.
  • Technical Savvy: Proficiency with hand and power tools (you should possess the tools necessary to complete your work).
  • A Helping Hand: A strong customer service orientation and the ability to explain our programs to those we serve.
  • Organization: Basic math and recordkeeping skills, along with comfort using Microsoft Office.
  • Reliability: A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must be physically prepared for the demands of the field:

  • Strength: Ability to perform heavy lifting in excess of 60 pounds.
  • Agility: Comfort climbing ladders, working in high places, and navigating small spaces.
  • Resilience: Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (heat and cold) and use PPE such as respirators when needed.
  • Stamina: This role involves frequent standing, walking, and bending throughout the workday.

This full-time position is 40 hours per week with no overtime.  It is primarily a Monday thru Friday schedule with possible weekend hours in the event of an emergency.  The starting pay range is $26 – $28 per hour.
