Are you passionate about energy efficiency and helping families save money?
Project Home is seeking a Residential Energy Auditor to join our team! You’ll play a vital role in delivering our weatherization services by conducting comprehensive energy audits in homes and multi-unit buildings. After thorough on-the-job training, you’ll help us determine if dwellings qualify for energy-saving upgrades.
In this role, you’ll:
- Conduct thorough energy audits to identify areas for improvement, like insulation and air leakage.
- Inspect heating and cooling systems for safety and efficiency.
- Recommend solutions to address building deficiencies and prioritize health and safety concerns.
- Clearly communicate project details and manage client expectations.
- Generate work orders to ensure crews and contractors effectively complete weatherization projects.
- Support senior auditors with multi-unit building assessments.
- Promote additional Project Home programs to help clients address broader home improvement needs.
- Achieve and maintain the required certifications and training for this position, such as Basic Auditor training, Lead Safe Renovator, Asbestos Inspector, OSHA 10 and CPR/AED/First Aid training.
- Build positive relationships with colleagues, clients, contractors, and supervisors.
We’re looking for someone with:
- A strong understanding of home construction principles (preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to safety and a keen eye for detail.
- The ability to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
- The physical ability to perform work in extremes of heat and cold with no adverse effects on health and the ability to climb ladders, work on roofs or other high places, and crawl in small spaces such as attics.
- A valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.

This position is Monday thru Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm (NO weekends or evenings).
